The North-
Slavery did not only impact the slaves and their masters it also affected the people that were against slavery in the North. Because the North was so industrialized more than the South they thought it was a non-positive development in the nation. After the industrial revolution the North thought it would be much better to rely on free labor rather than slave labor. The impact that slavery had on the North was huge due to the large amount of people that turned against it once they saw it was inhuman.

The South-
The South was all about slavery because they were not at all techanically advanced. They still relyed on slave labor to get the job done in time. Economically it seemed better for some time to have slaves cause you didn't have to pay them for all the work that they did. South got aggravated when the North started to emancipate more slaves and were ready ti fight for the freedom of the blacks. The South was impacted greatly because of how much they relied on slave labor to run there plantations and businesses.

The West-
During the time of westward expansion and people starting to move more out west arose a huge argument over weather the states should allow slaves or not. So the compromise was to split it exactly in half and have the Northern part be against slavery and the the Southern part be legal for slaves. This caused a lot of moving because mainly moved first for plantations and they brought their slaves along. The West I think was the least impacted part because they made a compromise. One that not everyone liked but had to follow thus causing arguments leading to the Civil War.
